Information on our Policies at Dashwood Manor

• We Are Wireless! Secured, complimentary internet service is provided throughout the house with high-speed, wireless service for your email or internet needs.

• Complimentary Off-street Parking is available for guests on our property. Excellent lighting and safe area for those late night arrivals.

• Our rooms and inside spaces are Completely Non-Smoking.

• Children aged 12 and over are welcome.

• No Pets please. We do not have pet suites available. A few local and excellent pet boarding services are available. We would be happy to refer you to some highly recommended places for your pet.

• A coin operated Pay Phone is available on our second floor. Guest rooms do not have phones.

• Victoria Taxi provides excellent service to our guests. We have their business cards handy for you, and we are always happy to arrange a taxi for you.

• Akal Airport Shuttle provides their shuttle service directly to our front door from the airport or from our bed and breakfast to the airport. Ask us to reserve ahead for you.

• Small weddings for up to twenty people can be accommodated in our home during the off season. Perfect wedding settings across the road on the beach or in Beacon Hill Park are popular with our guests. We can recommend marriage commissioners, caterers and photographers for you.

• Our dining room is suitable for small business meetings or workshops during the day.

• Weekly Rates are affordable ways to experience Victoria's most popular neighbourhood: the Fairfield neighbourhood and Cook Street Village. Housekeeping services are limited to clearing garbage daily with towel and sheet changes once per week if the stay is more than twelve nights. For stays of between seven and twelve nights, towels and linens are changed once at the mid-point in the stay.
  

• Extra Guests can be accommodated in a few suites. A charge of $40 per guest per night is required to cover extra cleaning, laundry and food costs for each extra person or for the use of an extra bed.

• Cancellation Policy: We ask that you kindly notify us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your reservation so we can rebook the room. Cancellations affect our business greatly as we are a small business with individually unique rooms, and we depend on our advance reservations for continued, successful operation. Once you arrive, if you should need to check out before your confirmed departure date, you will be responsible for the entire length of your stay if we cannot rebook the room. We encourage you to discuss trip cancellation insurance with your travel agent.
  

Reservations for stays of 1 to 5 nights: cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled arrival will result in a charge of the full cost of one night's stay. Any cancellation made up to 14 days prior to arrival will result in an administrative charge of $40 plus tax.

Reservations for stays of 6 nights to 2 weeks: your reservation will be confirmed by a non-refundable charge of the full cost of one night's stay. Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled arrival may result in a charge of 50% of the stay.

Reservations for stays longer than 2 weeks: your reservation will be confirmed by a non-refundable charge of the full cost of three night's stay. Cancellations made within 90 days of the scheduled arrival will result in a charge of 50% of the stay.

We will not share any personal information that you provide, including email addresses, customer names or other information with any outside agencies or companies for any reason. Your personal information is used only in the completion of transactions which you have requested. Your credit card information is used only for the transactional purposes for which it was collected.
